I've had these letters for many years now. They originally spelled "Merry Christmas" or "Joy to the World", having extra letters in the set to make that work. There are letters on both sides, making it possible to spell other things. About 10 years ago, I managed to lose the letters I need to spell either of the two intended greetings. Since then, it has been a family joke to spell something else, the wackier the better. This is my concoction this year. I've been waiting for someone to notice. So far, no one has.
Somehow, that makes it all the funnier to me.

I hope that you are having a wonderful holiday. We are having our first white Christmas in years and years and now I wish I had this more often. I really regret not learning how to ski now. Plenty of snow here to practice in!
